Allamuchy firemen push new truck into station

April 15, 2015 - After nearly two years, the Allamuchy Volunteer Fire Department finally celebrated the arrival of a new truck last night.

Firefighters Extinguish Dryer Fire on Osprey Rd

April 2, 2015 – Allamuchy Firefighters were alerted around 8pm for a dryer fire with flames showing. Upon arrival of the chief, heavy smoke was found pushing from the residence. Brush fire scorches 20 acres in Green

March 30, 2015 - Firefighters extinguished a brush fire near Wintermute Road and Hibler Road Monday afternoon.

Fire Damages Hackettstown Appartment

February 10, 2015 — Allamuchy Firefighters responded mutual aid into Hackettstown Tuesday night for a reported fire in an apartment.

Allamuchy Responds to Mt Lakes House Fire

January 3, 2015 – Allamuchy Firefighters were alerted around 930pm for mutual aid into Mountain Lakes for a fire that destroyed a Danville Mountain Road home in Liberty Township.

Firefighters Bring Santa to the Township

Allamuchy Fire Responds to Entrapment on 517 and RT80

On September 28th at around 430pm, firefighters were alerted to an MVA with entrapment.  Upon arrival of fire chief (91-60), it was confirmed that 1 occupant was entrapped due to a 2 car ‘t-bone’ MVA.  Firefighters arrived minutes later and used the JAWS to remove 2 doors along with part of the roof, while EMS and paramedics stabilize the patient.  Moments later,…

Juniors continuing to train hard into the fall months

On September 28th, Allamuchy Firefighters conducted a junior training session to help juniors understand hydrants and hose lines. Tree Dedication Ceremony Held at Firehouse

On Sunday September 7th, families and friends gathered for a tree dedication to celebrate the lives of ATFD members that have passed away. Trees were planted in memory of Richard Moore, James Powderley and Warwick Jefferies.

Junior Program Off to Great Success

Allamuchy Firefighters and new junior recruits got together Wednesday night to perform some basic drills. Juniors practiced hitting a hydrant, pulling hose, putting up ladders, the use of different tools on the truck, and how to properly manage a charged hose line. Car Carrier Drives Off RT80

July 6, 2014 – Allamuchy Firefighters responded to RT80 Sunday night for a car carrier that had gone off the roadway and crashed into the woods.

Allamachy Fire Tackles Another Vehicle Fire

June 6, 2014 – At around 6am, the Allamuchy Fire Department was dispatched to an MVA on RT80 east (mm 16.8) with a possible fire. Firefighters Respond to RT80 for Car Carrier Fire

May 28, 2014 – At around 6pm Allamuchy firefighters were alerted for a car carrier fire at exit 19, RT80 east.  Upon arrival, firefighters found the truck and 5 cars fully involved and immediately requested the assistance from Hope and Hackettstown Fire Departments.  Firefighters were able to knock down the bulk of the fire in about 15 minutes and continued to extinguish the hotspots…

Mutual Aid to Blairstown Structure Fire

May 26, 2014 – At around 3am, Allamuchy Firefighters were requested by the Blairstown Fire Department for a working structure fire.  Allamuchy Fire responded to the call with their RIT/FAST team to assist Blairstown in their efforts.  Firefighters were able to contain the fire to the kitchen and the attic space above the kitchen.  Allamuchy Fire took part in RIT/FAST training…
