September 16, 2017 - Allamuchy Township Schools hosted an event at Rutherford Hall called "Allamuchy Explore". August 29, 2017 - Members of the Allamuchy Fire Department have recently placed into service a new pick-up truck as an emergency response vehicle. August 15, 2017 – Firefighters conducted a hose lay drill dropping 5” hose from a “hydrant” (our tanker), and stretching attack lines in a coordinated fashion. August 12, 2017 - A little after 5:30pm, Allamuchy firefighters were requested for a full response into Green Township for a fully involved bus fire at Pub 517. The bus had a mechanical failure while transporting a wedding party and caught fire shortly after stopping on the side of the road.

The Warren County "Route 80 Rescue Task Force" trained together on a live action extrication drill. 42 firefighters from Allamuchy, Hope, Blairstown, and Knowlton met in Allamuchy Township to "respond" into a staged extrication drill at Plainview Growers. January 1, 2017 - Firefighters were alerted at around 1:30pm for a possible vehicle fire on Route 80 west, at mile post 17.4. Upon arrival of the chief, a Vette was found on the right shoulder, fully involved.
